Here is where you'll find all the latest information about what's happening with the new Art of the Lakes Creative Arts Center.
We're proposing to transform this vacant Battle Lake church located in the heart of town into a rural arts center with the mission to use the arts to build connection, identity and economic growth within our community and surrounding region. Options include rooms for classes, meetings, working, and creating; as well as, open areas for dancing, exercising, performing, and socializing—the possibilities are countless. There are spaces for hosting large functions as well as intimate gatherings for purposes to inform, educate and to entertain. This new center will be transformative both for Art of the Lakes as well as the community-at-large. We're always looking for new faces interested in helping us bring this dream to life. Volunteers Wanted
We are seeking friendly, community-minded folks to join our team. You don't have to be a member to help us bring this arts center to life. This is a beautiful landmark with so much potential! If you know how to use a paint brush or a hammer we can use your help. Or perhaps you're a people person—we've got people-person jobs too! With Art of the Lakes' busy summer schedule combined with the rollout of the new Creative Arts Center—it's an exciting time with much to be done. We'll work around your schedule.
