Community Art Teachers Wanted

1/17/2026

We're seeking talented and passionate artists to share their skills with our community through upcoming art programs for both senior citizens and children. These are paid teaching positions.

Spring Art Program for Senior Citizens
March–May, 2026
Guiding seniors through engaging, age-appropriate art experiences that inspire creativity and connection

Summer Art Program for Children
June–July, 2026
Teaching art classes for kids in a fun, creative, and encouraging environment

We welcome artists working in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, crafts, and other creative disciplines. Teaching experience is helpful but not required. Enthusiasm, patience, and a love of art are most important.

Each class will be 2 to 3 hours long. Supplies will be provided by Art of the Lakes. Selected teachers will be paid $75 per class.

If you're interested in teaching during one or both sessions, we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Sue Kalseim, [email protected], with a brief introduction, your artistic background, preferred age group(s), and your availability.

Thank you for considering sharing your creativity with our community. We look forward to working with you!
