Art of the Lakes was founded as an artist collaborative, and continues to lift up and encourage creative makers today. If you want to sell, exhibit, teach or grow as an artist, we've got you covered. Art Sales AOTL Members can display and sell original work year-round in our Gallery, the Creative Arts Center, the Good Samaritan Senior Living facility, and at special events. We charge a 30% commission for most sales, with some events carrying a lower commission.

We plan, promote and manage several art events each year, mostly in the busy summer months. Display artists may exhibit and sell their work at these venues.
Teaching Opportunities
If you're interested in teaching art skills to others, you've come to the right place. With the launch of the CAC, we now have dedicated space for a wide variety of workshops and classes, for kids to adults and beginners to professionals, and have greatly expanded our education promotion and programming. Visual Art Instructors Wanted - Deadline August 31 Art of the Lakes is seeking 2-4 Visual Art Instructors to share teaching 14 one-hour classes this Fall, Winter and Spring at the Good Samaritan Lakeview Facility in Battle Lake, MN. Instructors will also assist in hanging 2 exhibitions of artwork at Good Sam in December & April. This is a paid position. Art of the Lakes will provide supplies.
