Other clients included university sports programs and corporations. During this same time he was invited to teach illustration and painting at a local college. Some of his former students are illustrating for corporations including Disney and Target. Myron paints portraits for private, academic, and corporate commissions. His work is in the permanent collection of two museums and many private collections. His paintings have been in several shows and galleries in Minnesota. Sahlberg’s artwork has also been selling in shows in Tucson, Arizona since 2016. One is the American Miniature Show at Settlers West Gallery. The other is the Mountain Oyster Club Western Art Show. Psalm 16:8 -11 is a favorite Bible passage that contributes to his personal perspective in life. “When I keep the Lord in mind, my wife, family, friends, and art, in that order, my heart is glad and my spirit can rejoice freely.” Every day he paints is a great day! |
