Scott art directed print magazines for 20 years when the digital age came. So he decided it was time to start painting like dead guys. After training and getting his feet wet on the circuit of plein air painting events, he was lucky enough to win a few awards and get on the map. Check out his website for a full listing. He teaches and as served as judge in a variety of events as well. His work is seen in many private collections, and a few corporate and museum settings. But mostly he's pleased with having been selected for the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition 13 times since starting to paint in 2001. He's won ten ribbons, notably two 2nd place red ones!
