AOTL Member Survey:
Help Shape the Art Center
Picture
TAke the survey
Art of the Lakes has an exciting opportunity to expand into space available at the former Lutheran Church on Main Street in Battle Lake. We're exploring a variety of offerings for these spaces and need your help to determine what activities and events will best meet the needs and interests of our community.

This new art center will be transformative both for Art of the Lakes and the community at large.

Help shape the future of Art of the Lakes and your community! Make your voice heard by taking this survey.

The Power of Endowments
Art of the Lakes is in the planning stages of creating an endowment/investment fund. As a 501c3 organization, your contributions are tax-deductible.

Your support of the arts in lakes country will enable many opportunities for all forms of artistic expression: workshops, seminars, artist-in-residence, youth programs, aspiring artists, scholarships, performances, exhibitions, studio tours, and more.

How powerful would these investments be? Here are two projections of an initial $10,000 fund, with annual additions of $1,000, at 6% and 10% return over 50 years:

In Memoriam: Lucy Normann
One of our members, Lucy Normann, passed away in February of this year. She had a very long and stressful battle with cancer and other complications.

Lucy did crystal earrings and some glass hangings. Her husband, Jon, is also a member — he does the amazing wood turning that looks like it is coated in glass. Lucy was a sweet and beautiful person. She will be greatly missed.
